Gary Trent Jr. was recently traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Toronto Raptors in his third NBA season with a fresh start ahead of him.
Since being traded to the Raptors, Trent Jr. has been key in their success. In six games with his new team, he’s averaged 16.7 points per game while shooting .419 from beyond the arc. He’s also shown just how clutch he is already with a game-winner against the Washington Wizards on Monday night.
When it comes to the young core in Toronto, Trent Jr. has already established himself as a key piece. With his elite ability to score and the flashes of excellent defense he’s shown early in his career, his future is very bright.
