Prior to the Lakers’ season-opener matchup against Warriors on Tuesday night, head coach Frank Vogel updated the injury status on Malik Monk, Wayne Ellington and Kendrick Nunn—all of whom missed the last games of the preseason due to injury.
“We still don’t know how they’re going to be listed, but Kendrick did participate in practice along with Malik, and Wayne did not,” head coach Frank Vogel said via Yahoo! Sports. “Obviously, we’ll see how Kendrick responds to the work today before we decide his availability, him and Malik.”

Both Nunn and Monk are needed to provide scoring to the Lakers’ offensive and use their outside shooting and ability to breakdown the defense to create their own shot. Ellington was brought in as a specialist to provide the three-point shooting to spread the defense.
