In the most shocking move of the offseason, DeMarcus Cousins has agreed to a one-year, $5.3 million deal with the Golden State Warriors, reports Yahoo’s Shams Charania.
The free-agent market dried up on Cousins when the Lakers, Mavericks and Pelicans all went in another direction.
Cousins, 27, ruptured his achilles in late January, and is looking to rebuild his value for when he hits free agency again in 2019.

Shortly after the news broke, Stephen Curry and other Warriors players welcomed Cousins to Golden State.
