The Brooklyn Nets are trading to acquire James Harden from the Houston Rockets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. A Harden trade became inevitable after the situation in Houston appeared to deteriorate further last night.
The trade will also include the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Cavs will acquire Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince in the deal while LeVert and four future first-round picks are among the package heading to Houston.
Those picks will be unprotected in 2022, 2024 and 2026.
The Pacers, a late addition to the deal, will take LeVert and a second-round pick from the Rockets and send Victor Oladipo to Houston.
Overall, the Rockets will onboard Oladipo, three unprotected first-round picks from Brooklyn, four additional pick swaps with Brooklyn, Dante Exum and Rodions Kurucs.
