Warriors’ Andre Iguodala: OKC Was ‘Better Than Us, Better Than Cleveland’ in the Playoffs (VIDEO)
Warriors forward Andre Iguodala appeared on The Breakfast Club in New York City on Thursday morning, and he discussed all the big storylines going on, including reflecting on Golden State’s NBA Finals loss to the Cavaliers and the Warriors signing Kevin Durant.
Most notably, Iguodala said the following, when asked about teaming up with KD despite the fact that the Oklahoma City Thunder nearly defeated the Dubs in the Western Conference Finals:
“Now that we got KD, I can say it: They were the best team last year in the playoffs. They were better than us, they were better than Cleveland. They were the best team in the playoffs. They should have won a championship.”
Iguodala also touched on the Warriors’ upcoming season—saying “I hope we lose a little bit” to stay humble—a few other teams around the League, like the Knicks, and if he watches the WNBA. (Dre even admits he won’t pay for apps on his phone.) Watch the whole interview in the video above.
