Just one night after dropping 56 points, LiAngelo Ball, younger brother of UCLA freshman star Lonzo Ball (who has now emerged in the conversation for top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft), posted a massive 72-point outing on Wednesday, which included 13 three-pointers. The 6-6 forward has already signed a letter of intent to UCLA for next year. And it doesn’t just stop at LiAngelo. The youngest of the Ball Brothers, LaMelo, has been putting up video game-like stats as well. The 6-2 guard, who has also verbally committed committed to UCLA, posted 24 points and 18 assists on Tuesday night. He followed that up with 31 points last night.
According to MaxPreps, LiAngelo is averaging 51.3 points through the first three games of the season.
We spent time with the Ball Brothers at their Chino Hills home in California earlier this year, where they talked about going 35-0 last season and becoming the greatest show in all of HS ball.
