All tied up at 87-87 in Los Angeles last night, the Knicks had the ball with under ten seconds remaining on the game clock. Normally in that situation, Carmelo Anthony gets the ball. But with Kobe Bryant denying Melo the ball and the Knicks screwing up their possession, time was dwindling. Watch above as unlikely candidate Jose Calderon realizes he has to heave up a shot to beat the buzzer. Fortunately for New York, it found the bottom of the net for a game-winning three-pointer.
Anthony finished with 26, 12 and 4 on the night, while the game-winner was part of just a 9-point performance from Calderon.
