The long-simmering rivalry between Kevin Garnett and Joakim Noah took a turn for the ridiculous Sunday, as KG pretended to clamp down on Noah’s hand with his teeth.
Following the Chicago Bulls’ 102-84 road win against the Brooklyn Nets, both players had vastly different reactions to the incident.
Per the NY Post:
“I know how to bite somebody,” Garnett said with a laugh afterward. “Obviously I was messing around in that moment. If I wanted to bite him, I’d have just … shout out to Mike Tyson.”
“Yo, man, he tried to bite me, man,” Noah said. “That’s crazy man. I mean, it’s unbelievable. […] Kevin Garnett tried to bite me. It’s unbelievable. I don’t even know what to say.”
Noah was then asked if he tried to say anything to Garnett after it happened. […] “After he tried to bite me? Nah. I didn’t,” Noah said. “He tried to bite me man. I’m happy he didn’t connect. If somebody tries to bite you, I think it’s a little bit more than trying to get in your head. It’s pretty amazing.”
