Dwyane Wade played 13 seasons with the Miami Heat, won three Championships, earned a Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, and made eight All-NBA teams.
No disrespect to Alonzo Mourning, but D-Wade is the greatest Heat player of all time.
In 2016, Wade’s freakish athleticism is mostly a thing of the past, but let’s not forget that this is a 2-guard who dunked 152 times in 2005-06.
He was neck-and-neck with Kobe Bryant as the best 2-guard in the League for a five-year stretch, and he just moved past Michael Jordan for most Playoff blocks by a guard.
Although he’s going home to Chicago next season, Dwyane Wade and Miami were virtually synonymous since 2003. Salute to one of the all-time greats.
