Klay Thompson’s found his shooting stroke recently, getting buckets in his second signature sneaker from ANTA. The Chinese company has endorsed Kevin Garnett in the past, and currently has Rajon Rondo and Manny Pacquaio under contract.
The KT2 features a heel design that looks like a hawk, wingtips that flex, giving way to perforations for breathability, a high-traction outsole and lateral flare providing critical stability for the quick bursts, starts, stops and cuts on the court. The mid-foot offers a strong support system, with an injection heel for lockdown.
Thompson’s been wearing the “Whitehawk” at home and the “Blackhawk” on the road. According to ANTA, this is just the beginning of their move to solidifying themselves as the next great sportswear brand:
Over the coming months, ANTA America’s plans are not limited to basketball shoes. Future plans include a variety of athletic shoes styles, apparel and accessories.
The “Blackhawk” and “Whitehawk” are available for purchase right now, each for $120.
