Though NBA All-Star Weekend has (sadly) wrapped up, we’re still hyped over how great the parties and events were. The four-day long party kicked off on Thursday, when Stance socks and Dwyane Wade teamed up to launch their first-ever Spades tournament. The star-studded bracket was filled with celebs from both on and off the court, and they won big.
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union made it to the finals, while Carmelo Anthony’s team won the consolation bracket. Melo went home with a Givenchy backpack and a ton of Stance socks for his performance. Stance provided the official socks for the 2015 All-Star Game, and All-Stars Chris Bosh and John Wall were in attendance, along with Andre Drummond, Marco Belinelli, Aaron Gordon, Charlie Villanueva and Royal Ivey. Beyonce was among the celebrity guests that watched the tournament from The Skylark cocktail lounge in NYC.
San Diego Chargers linebacker Dwight Freeney and Scottie “The Animal” Hayes emerged as the winning team, taking home a Hublot watch, private jet time from Wheels Up and a new pair of Stance socks every day for a year. Second place winner, Jeff Dixon of Disturbing tha Peace Records, won a chauffeured Rolls Royce for a night out and 100 pairs of Stance Socks.
