In SLAM 153—on newsstands now—I’ve got a writeup on two Converse sneaks, the DefCON and the “Dr. J” Pro Leather 2K11 (for more info on those shoes, check these Counterkicks posts on the defCON and the 2K11). When I had Converse on the phone for the story, they had planned to release the shoes on November 15. Between then and now, they’ve changed the date.
The good news is that you can now purchase the defCON on November 1. The shoe comes in a full spectrum of colorways, which can check out in the gallery below. The 2K11 is still available on November 15.
