The 1996 NBA Draft was no joke. And the No. 1 pick? None other than Allen Iverson, a diminutive shooting guard from Georgetown. Straight out the gate, AI was rocking Reebok, specifically the Question in his rookie year. To honor that season, Reebok is dropping the Question Mid “#1 Draft Pick” later this month, which comes in a colorway designed to pay tribute to Iverson’s career in Philadelphia with a nostalgic royal/white/red treatment—playing off the Sixers uniforms of the late ’90s. The Question’s normal “3” on the heel is replaced with a “1” in honor of Iverson’s draft position.
Per Reebok, limited pairs of this Question colorway will hit retail on Friday, August 23 for $125 at retailers including Foot Locker, Finish Line, Jimmy Jazz, Villa, DTLR, Champs, and Reebok.com.
