Reebok Classics is set to bring back a true retro sneaker in about a week, when the ‘ES22’ hits the market again. Don’t remember the ES22? It was Emmitt Smith’s original NFL trainer. To fill you in, here’s the skinny, from Reebok:
Worn by Hall of Fame Running Back, Emmitt Smith, the ES22 has been kept in the Reebok Classics Vault for the past 15 years. The shoe that helped earn Emmitt Smith a Rookie of the Year award, 4 Rushing Titles, 3 Super Bowl wins, 8 Pro Bowl wins, and a Super Bowl MVP award, will debut in its original colorways Club Blue/White and Black/White. Celeb fans of the Reebok Classic ES22 include Tyga, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Maurice Jones-Drew, Roddy White, Jamaal Charles, DeMarcus Ware and more. This is a limited drop, so when they’re gone, they’re gone…
The ES22 will hit Foot Locker (exclusively) on Wednesday, November 21—in anticipation of the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game vs. the Washington Redskins—and will retail for $140.
