Kendrick Lamar linked up with designer Ian Paley, of Garbstore fame, to design their own version of the “Classic Leather.”
These kicks are highlighted by a longitudinal seam that goes down the shoe separating the blue and red. The seam is used to tell the unity and neutrality themes that K. Dot has explored with his past two Reebok Classics.
The To Pimp a Butterfly rapper teamed up with Reebok Classic back in 2014. Last summer, the Reebok released a limited edition “Ventilator” kick that paid homage to Kendrick’s home of Compton, CA. At the top of 2016, Reebok dropped a Lamar-inspired version of the “Classic.”
The release date for these kicks is set for July 1 and will be sold at Reebok.com, Shoe Palace and Sneaker Villa. For information on pricing and sizes, check out Reebok.com.
