After winning Rookie of the Year honors in his first season after a shortened, injury plagued campaign at Duke, Kyrie Irving is climbing in status both in the NBA and with Nike. So much in fact that Swoosh hit Kyrie with his very own PE of the performance-laced Nike Hyperdunk 2012.
Sporting Cavs coloring from top to bottom, the sneakers were recently revealed in closer detail during a Nike “Inside Access” spotlight of the young point guard. Executed in a black base, the shoe also features red throughout and yellow branding. A “K” appears on the tongue and the shoe is finished with a speckled midsole.
