The “Announcement” edition has become one of Dwyane Wade’s standard colorways through his Li-Ning Way of Wade series, now making an appearance on all five of Wade’s signatures.
Originally created to celebrate D-Wade’s business partnership with Li-Ning, this year’s “Announcement” colorway is again a mix of black/red/white colors, but arranged a new and unique way.

The upper is majority black-based on a majority white-based sole with accents of sport red strategically placed on the lace, tongue, collar lining and on his heel logo. The upper construction represents the WoW5 “Mesh Version” which is a unique layering of textiles and reflective materials to create a seamlessly modern new textile material package.
The external upper pattern straps and heel counter are reinforced strong from the backside and made of highly-reflective materials.
The internal bootie and tongue feature a updated comfort-focused construction as well.
The sole mixes a semi-clear white rubber in the forefoot with semi-clear red rubber in the heel. The sole is supported with an internal carbon fiber mid foot shank which uses a classic black carbon fiber weave on this color way. The sole intuitively cradles the upper using a newly designed dual-duometer TPU clip system, maximizing ideal lateral support & heel stability on-court.
