Jordan Heads Brooklyn—the first all-Air Jordan sneaker boutique of its kind in New York City—is set to host its Grand Opening on Thursday, October 23 at 302 Malcolm X Boulevard in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
Dedicated to the greatness of Michael Jordan, Jordan Heads Brooklyn will be a go-to destination for fans of MJ and his kicks. Trust us, we got a sneak preview last week and the guys damn near had to kick us out. Founded and operated by Brooklyn native Calvan Fowler, JHBK not only carries exclusive J’s, but rare Jordan-inspired memorabilia, too, from artwork and posters to key chains and t-shirts. Shoot, even the ceiling is painted in elephant print.
The official kick-off for the store will begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday, with the first 23 customers in line receiving a special Jordan Heads Brooklyn gift bag. The boutique is an extension of Fowler’s movie project, Jordan Heads: The Documentary, which is exec produced by Michael Rapaport and set to drop in 2015.
