It was a thrilling Saturday evening as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four took place at a raucous Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. In the much-anticipated rematch of a Final Four battle from 2014, it was the adidas-sponsored Wisconsin Badgers exacting revenge and crushing the perfect season of the Nike-draped Kentucky Wildcats, 71-64. Frank Kaminksy, rocking the Crazylight Boost, managed to outduel the Wildcats’ big man tandem of Willie Cauley-Stein and Karl-Anthony Towns, who wore the Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 NCS and Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2014 respectively.
In the evening’s earlier game, it was a Nike versus Nike battle as the Duke Blue Devils showed why they’ve been a National Championship favorite all year long with a dominant performance over the spirited Michigan State Spartans, 81-61. Freshman phenom Jahlil Okafor, sporting the Nike Air Max Hyperposite, proved to be too much for Denzel Valentine, sporting the Nike KD7, and the overachieving Spartans.
