The four-team field for the 2015 Jimmy V Classic has been set, and the event is going to be absolutely stacked. It will be headlined by the UConn Huskies, who will take on the Maryland Terrapins. The other game will feature a border war between the Virginia Cavaliers and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Both games will take place at Madison Square Garden on December 8, 2015.

Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia will join Connecticut on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The 21st annual event will feature three current AP Top 25 teams. UConn will face Maryland while Virginia. the defending ACC champions, will take on Bob Huggins’ West Virginia squad.
The Mountaineers and Cavaliers have split 16 matchups throughout their history, while UConn holds a 4-2 all-time advantage on Maryland in the series with the last four meetings on a neutral court.
“We are delighted to be an invited once again to participate in the Jimmy V Classic,” Huggins said. “The Jimmy V Classic is one of the premier events during the college basketball season.”
