Report: Arizona Commit Terrance Ferguson Expected to Play Overseas

Terrance Ferguson, a five-star swingman from Advanced Prep International (TX), is considering skipping his freshman year at the University of Arizona to play overseas before entering the 2017 NBA Draft. The 6-7 sharpshooter is expected to sign a deal with Under Armour, following in the footsteps of Brandon Jennings and fellow Prime Prep/API alum Emmanuel Mudiay, and head across the pond to hoop professionally for a year.

Ferguson originally committed to Alabama and Head Coach Avery Johnson before changing his mind and signing with Sean Miller and the Wildcats.

Sources are telling 247Sports that five-star basketball product Terrance Ferguson is expected to play overseas rather than enrolling at Arizona as a freshman, barring an unexpected change of plans.

Ferguson, an athletic 6-foot-7 sharpshooter who ranked No. 16 in the 247Sports Composite as a member of the 2016 class, is also expected to sign a deal with Under Armour, per a source. Ferguson’s travel team was sponsored by Under Armour.
