Post Up: Sniper Can’t Miss

Magic 102 (2-3), Kings 94 (2-4)

While the Magic didn’t have an answer for DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings didn’t have an answer for Evan Fournier. Young France hit Sac-Town for 29 points, on 10-15 shooting. Serge Ibaka, Jeff Green, Aaron Gordon and Nik Vucevic scored in double-figures for the Magic. Cousins had 33 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. He and the Kings couldn’t catch up after trailing by as many as 13 in the second half.

Bucks 125 (3-2), Pacers 107 (2-3)

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker were coming outta the rafters against the Pacers. They each finished with 27 points and a whole bunch of memorable dunks. Giannis also had 9 assists, while Jabari added 8 rebounds. After scoring 14 points in his last game, Bucks rookie Malcolm Brogdon contributed 12 tonight. Paul George had 23 for the Pacers.

”I’m real frustrated,” George said. ”I know how good we could be. I know how good we were. We’re nowhere close to it. It’s embarrassing the way we’re playing and we look on the floor right now.”

Nuggets 102 (2-2), Wolves 99 (1-3)

Wilson Chandler sighting! The ten-year vet put in 19 points to helped the Nuggets back from a 15-point first half deficit. After getting outscored 33-14 in the third, Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves back into the game. Trailing 102-99 with 4 seconds left, the Wolves turned to second-year forward Nemanja Bjelica to tie the game. His shot was half way down before it rolled out of the rim. Danilo Gallinari also had 19 for the Nuggets. Towns and Wiggins had 32 and 25, respectively.

Cavaliers 128 (5-0), Celtics 122 (3-2)

LeBron James showed off his full arsenal for the Cavs’ fifth win of the season. He dished out 12 assists and punished the smaller Celtics guards, moving to within two points of passing Hakeem Olajuwon for tenth on the all-time scoring list. Odds are pretty good that he passes the Dream when the Cavs play the Sixers tomorrow.

Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving balanced out the wine and gold, scoring 26 and 23 each. Tristan Thompson finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Rookie Jaylen Brown had a career-high 19, but the C’s were without Al Horford and Jae Crowder.

Warriors 122 (4-1), Thunder 96 (4-1)

Kevin Durant was pissed. He went off in this one. Sniper was drilling three’s and letting his opponents know about it. He had 39 loud points. He kept his foot on the Thunder’s throat. This one was never a game. Russell Westbrook got 20 points and 10 assists in the loss.
