Former NBA All-Star Zach Randolph has reached an agreement to join the BIG3, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports. The big man will serve as the captain of Trilogy.
The Randolph news comes on the heels of another announcement, that BIG3 player Stephen Jackson would be trading his jersey for a clipboard and coaching the Trilogy squad.
Randolph, now 38, hasn’t suited up for an NBA squad since the 2017-18 campaign when he signed on with the Sacramento Kings but enjoyed a memorable eight-year run with the Memphis Grizzlies before that.
The first stop on the BIG3’s 2020 schedule is, coincidentally, Memphis.
