Guard OJ Mayo is expected to opt out of his contract this offseason, and according to KSTP-AM 1500 (via the News-Herald), he should have at least a couple of suitors on the open market: “KSTP-AM 1500 in Minnesota is reporting the Timberwolves might target shooting guard O.J. Mayo in free agency. The Cavs might kick the tires on Mayo, as well. He’s expected to opt out of his contract with Dallas. He shot a career-high 40.7 percent from the 3-point line this season. Mayo averaged 15.3 points on 12.5 shots. It might be poetic justice if he signs with the Timberwolves. He was drafted by Minnesota in 2008 and traded to Memphis for the rights to Kevin Love.”
