According to Danny Green, he along with Manu Ginobili and Cory Joseph considered changing their kicks prior to the start of the NBA Finals. Reason being, the three San Antonio Spurs teammates have worn LeBron James’ signature Nikes all season long. Per Fox Sports (via Bleacher Report): “We thought about it, but why change something that’s been important to us all year,’ Danny Green said. The other two agreed that keeping with their yearly routine is more important than changing something simply because of a name. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. […] Green continued, ‘I guess it would feel good winning in itself but if you think about it that way, it would make it feel a little bit better.'”
