On March 6, 1994, David Robinson showed the Magic why San Antonio’s paint is his neighborhood.
Robinson fakes left with his massive shoulder, then takes off to his right, blowing past Larry Krystkowiak. With 6-8 Dennis Scott in perfect position for a block, 7-1 Robinson leaped up with two hands on the ball. Scott got two hands on it… But Mr. Robinson’s is a rough neighborhood… Where even a young kid like Anfernee Hardaway can get kicked in the face… And a shove to the ground brings Dennis Rodman to the rescue. Despite the tackle, our heroes lived happily ever after, got the foul… and a kiss on the head to seal the SlamaDaMonth.
(Oh yeah, nice D Shaq.)
