Marshall’s $2 million deal was due to become fully-guaranteed Saturday, and Utah is expected to cut him loose.
Per the Philly Daily News:
In a move that has become very familiar to 76ers fans over the past few years, the team traded a marginal player for a pair of second-round picks and picked up a player to help another team unload some salary.
With an abundance of big men already on their roster, it seems doubtful the Sixers will retain Pleiss.
Marshall entered last season still recovering from ACL surgery and never seemed to gain his normal speed or quickness. He appeared in just 30 games and averaged 3.7 points.
