Ron Artest to Help Combat Mental Health Problems

T-shirts weren’t the only good thing to come out of Ron-Ron’s openness about dealing with mental issues; he’ll also be working to help kids dealing with them as well. From the OC Reigster: “Next week, Lakers forward Ron Artest and Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano will join forces to combat mental health [problems] and promote the Mental Health in Schools Act. Seriously. The two will head to Eastmont Intermediate School in Montebello next Thursday and talk to the students about the stigma of mental illness and encourage them to seek assistance. They hope to raise awareness and call for the passage of federal legislation HR 2531, which would establish mental health programs across the country.”
