Seven-time NBA Champion Robert Horry is venturing into the health care business after opening a sports and physical rehabiliation center in Sugar Land, TX. Via Spurs Nation: “Horry’s new business will offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and a hand and upper extremity rehabilitation program. The center’s staff also will include physical therapists and occupational hand therapists who will treat carpal tunnel and other wrist and hand injuries. Horry’s new 5,000-square-foot facility will also offer sopecial treatments for area patients and athletes. Most interestingly, Horry has plans for other centers in the Houston area, Los Angeles, San Antonio and his home state of Alabama. If he’s nearly as successful as he was in his NBA career, which was marked by seven league championships, he should do quite well. Horry finished his 16-season NBA career with a five-season stint with the Spurs from 2003-08. During that time, the Spurs claimed NBA titles in 2005 and 2007.”
