Charlotte Hornets forward Nicolas Batum is expected to miss the remainder of the first-round series against the Miami Heat with a left ankle injury, league sources informed cleveland.com.
Batum, 27, underwent an X-ray on Thursday and the results did not reveal a fracture, a league source told cleveland.com. I’m told Batum is not able to place weight on the foot. The results of his MRI have yet to be released.
