He may have avoided doing any jail time, but veteran guard Raymond Felton will still feel the NBA’s wrath. He was suspended Thursday for four games for illegally carrying a firearm. From the press release:
Dallas Mavericks’ guard Raymond Felton has been suspended for four games without pay for pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, in violation of the law of the State of New York, the NBA announced today.
Felton’s suspension will begin with the first game of the 2014-15 NBA regular season.
