Bosh will make his first trip to Toronto as a member of the opposing team tomorrow night, and the boos will be loud and unrelenting. According to Raptors players, he doesn’t deserve the fans’ wrath. From the National Post: “Raptors fans will voice their opinion about Bosh during Wednesday’s game at the Air Canada Centre when the former face of the franchise plays in Toronto for the first time since signing with the Miami Heat in the off-season. The Raptors have struggled since Bosh departed compiling a 15-40 record. Last season Toronto finished 40-42. And while some Raptors players expect their former teammate, who played seven seasons in Toronto, to be booed, they do not think it will be deserved. ‘I wouldn’t boo him,’ said Reggie Evans, who will miss the game with his foot injury. ‘It’s just a basketball game and he just made a business decision. It wasn’t like a personal decision. It was just he wanted to play for the Miami Heat. It’s not a loyal business. Kareem-Abdul Jabbar played for two teams, [Michael Jordan] played for two teams, so there’s no loyalty in the business. This is a business.’ Some fans are going to be angry when a player decides to leave town regardless of the circumstances. But what irked a lot of Toronto supporters is how Bosh acted while heading out the door with a series of tone-deaf comments about the process and his time here. ‘The only thing I can say is … he was a great teammate, a great friend, he played really good for us and gave us a lot of wins,’ said Jose Calderon. ‘I wasn’t here when everything happened in the summer, so I don’t know what was going on. I think he did a lot of good things for this organization.'”
