Paul Pierce Says Younger Generation is Less Competitive Because of Computers and NBA2K
Wizards veteran Paul Pierce is 37 years old. To put that in perspective, when he was drafted back in 1998, current Washington teammate Bradley Beal hadn’t even turned 5 years old yet. So when he was asked why, in his opinion, the younger generation isn’t as competitive—and doesn’t talk as much trash—as the old heads these days, Pierce replied: “Computers. They play NBA2K instead of going to the park.” Word?
