It’s a cold world out there, friends. Minnesota showed Josh Howard the door after he tore up his right knee. Per the AP: “The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived forward Josh Howard after he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. Howard was injured Friday at New Orleans. The team initially hoped he would be able to return this season, but an MRI revealed the torn ligament. Howard averaged 6.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11 games for the Wolves this season. It’s the latest in a long line of injuries for the Wolves. Chase Budinger, Brandon Roy and Malcolm Lee all are out with knee injuries. Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic, JJ Barea and Andrei Kirilenko have also missed time with various injuries.”
