LaMarcus Aldridge shot down rumors that he’s unhappy playing for the San Antonio Spurs, and possibly looking for a change of scenery.
The big fella says he hasn’t heard any rumblings about a potential trade.

Aldridge, 31, signed a four-year deal as a free agent last summer.
Per the The Jim Rome Show:
“I didn’t buy into it. I haven’t heard anything about it,” Aldridge said. “I talk to Pop [Head Coach Gregg Popovich] daily, and he always tells me I’m doing great and [I’m] trying to learn new things and trying to be more of a leader, and he’s putting me in positions where I can be more of a leader. So as long as the guys here aren’t saying bad things to me, and all my teammates have said nothing but great things to me. So as long as the guys in my family here aren’t saying bad things, then I’m fine.”
When asked point-blank if he was happy in San Antonio, the 5-time All-Star was quick to respond.
“Yeah, for sure I am,” Aldridge said. “We made history last year. They incorporated me into the family and tried to make me one of the big pieces. I’m from Texas, I see my family, I’m winning, like of course I’m happy. That’s why I don’t buy into the rumors, and I feel like I do my job here, and I feel like I’ve done everything that they’ve asked. So that’s why I haven’t bought into the rumors.”
