Kobe Bryant Leads LeBron James in NBA All-Star Votes

In the second return for NBA All-Star votes, Kobe Bryant has overtaken LeBron James for the overall lead: “Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, who this season topped the 30,000-point plateau, is the leading overall vote-getter (977,444), followed closely by the Miami Heat’s LeBron James with 970,314 votes, after the second returns of the 2013 NBA All-Star Balloting presenting by Sprint. Bryant is followed in the Western Conference by the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant (924,898), while the New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony (891,759) sits behind James in the East. […] James, Anthony and the Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett (328,716) pace the Eastern Conference’s frontcourt players. The Heat’s Dwyane Wade leads all Eastern Conference backcourt players with 645,875 votes, followed by the Celtics’ Rajon Rondo (574,272).
