There’s been plenty of chatter about Russell Westbrook’s spectacular 54-point performance Sunday night, and the 43 field goal attempts he needed to set a new career-high.
Westbrook doesn’t care about the criticism, and Kobe Bryant came to Westbrook’s defense Monday afternoon on Twitter.
The injured Bryant, who clearly has plenty of time on his hands to mess around with memes on the Internet, points out that Westbrook shot nearly 50% from the field in the 116-104 road loss to the Indiana Pacers, while grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out eight assists:
