Kings PG Ray McCallum is Working Out With Russell Westbrook This Summer

It appears that Sacramento’s Ray McCallum is in good hands this offseason. The Kings point guard is fresh off a solid second year in which he averaged 7.4 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.6 rebounds. But there is much room for improvement.

That is precisely why McCallum has turned to one of the best in the NBA at his position—Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook. The two are apparently working out together this offseason, and one can safely assume that McCallum will be learning a lot from Westbrook.

At 6-3, 190 pounds, McCallum has a similar build to the athletic Westbrook. He’s got big shoes to fill, but with the right guidance and work ethic maybe Ray can blossom into a mini-Russell.
