The do-it-all point guard in Penny Hardaway just can’t quit.
Penny will turn 40 on July 18, but that’s not stopping him from dropping dimes of information all over the web, via his Twitter account.
Penny’s been busy online this week, sharing two bits of sneaker information with his followers. First, he tweeted that Nike will be issuing an Air Force 1 with Penny’s 1 Cent logo on it.
Next, he let us know about the Nike Zoom Rookie: a hybrid shoe that draws from every shoe he’s worn in his NBA career.
The Zoom Rookie seems to largely resemble the Nike Air Flight 1. Penny said the shoe would release in multiple colorways this August. What do you guys think of the Penny sneaker news? Were you fans of the 1/2 Cent hybrids when they first dropped? Let us know.
