Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both experienced a tumultuous summer and were peppered with questions about the status of their relationship now that KD is on the Warriors. While there were reports that their friendship had turned sour, Durant is now claiming that the two are “still cool.”
During an event at the University of Texas, Durant spoke to The Oklahoman‘s Eric Horne about Russ:
At a Nike event at the University of Texas in Austin on Friday, Kevin Durant was asked about his relationship with Russell Westbrook.
Said Durant: “We’re still cool. We’re going to compete against each other at the highest level. We’re gonna have fun against each other. We’re still cool.”
