The once high-flying Jason Richardson has been grounded by a left knee injury – he underwent surgery in February 2013 – and is now dealing with a stress fracture in his right foot.
Richardson, 33, is in the final year of his contract with the Philadelphia Sixers.
Per CSN Philly:
“He is busting his tail to get back in shape and play again,” head coach Brett Brown said. “He is not going down easy. He is not going to retire easily. He continues to work, to try and get ready. It is a setback.”
The 33-year-old is in the final year of his contract. Over his 12 NBA seasons, Richardson has scored more than 14,000 points.
