On his 27th birthday, Hawks wing Kent Bazemore signed a $70 million contract to stay in Atlanta for the next four seasons.

Bazemore, who worked his way up from the D-League to eventually earn a starting spot with the Hawks last season, averaged a career-best 11.6 points on 44.1 percent shooting.

He had previously signed a two-year, $4 million pact with the Hawks back in 2016.

Now that the Hawks have Bazemore and Dwight Howard committed to long-term deals, Al Horford’s time in Atlanta might be up.
