Today, Foot Locker announced the debut of its first smartphone app for iOS and Android. The Foot Locker app is highlighted by the introduction of “Shoemoji” to the world—yep, Foot Locker has created sneaker emojis that you can send to friends or tag in your social media posts. The Shoemoji are free in the Foot Locker app, and include hundreds of your favorite kicks, in emoji form (and the brand promises to keep adding more and more kicks to the collection).
Beyond the Shoemoji, the Foot Locker App promises a Release Calendar, Launch Locator, Store Locator, access to the retailer’s VIP program and enhanced online shopping. We had a chance to preview the app a couple weeks back, and we were definitely impressed with the interface. The Foot Locker App is available for download now in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for Android, so go check it out yourself, and start sending some shoemojis.
