The Good Smaritan Flyin’ To The Hoop tournament has long been a staple in the Midwest, but has seen itself evolve into one of the top tournaments nationally over the last few years. Held in basketball-rich Dayton, OH, FTTH usually packs out the gym with nearly 4,000 fans each night who come out to get a glimpse at basketball’s next group of stars before they hit the League. We’ll be right there taking in the action alongside those fans in what should be an amazing four days of basketball.
From our friends at the Good Samaritan Flyin’ To The Hoop:
I am excited to announce the 11th annual Good Samaritan Flyin’ to the Hoop Boy’s High School Basketball Invitational in Dayton, Ohio. This CBS Sports / Max Preps #2 Nationally ranked event will again take place MLK weekend (Jan. 18-21) of 2013 in the 4,000+ seat TRENT ARENA (www.trentarena.com) in Dayton, OH. We expect 20,000 people to attend and enjoy the games over that weekend from communities all over the tri-state area.
The event will feature at total of 34 teams – 16 from the Dayton / Cincinnati area and the rest consisting of high–caliber national teams. The participating teams will play “shoot-out” matches for a total of 20 games over the 4-day holiday weekend. This year’s talent is the best we’ve had…
