The new film by our friends Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau, Doin’ It In The Park: Pick-Up Basketball, NYC, which we previewed last month, is ready to be seen by the public. It will be screened tonight at DeKalb Market in Brooklyn, NY (138 Willoughby Street at the corner of Flatbush Avenue).
The full night of entertainment starts with a DJ set by Sucio Smash and then the movie will air at 8 pm. There will then be a Q&A with Bob & Kev afterwards. Admission is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need more info you can check the event page on Facebook.
As for SLAM…I’ll be there in person with a bunch of copies of our latest issue that I’ll be giving out for free.
