Remember yesterday when Lakers head coach Byron Scott said he was glad to have D’Angelo Russell instead of Emmanuel Mudiay because Mudiay isn’t “a true point guard?”
Well, last night the Nuggets beat the Lakers, 120-109. Mudiay was 3-13 from the field with 6 turnovers, but he still had 12 points and 10 assists, versus Russell’s 7 points and 6 assists. And after the game, Mudiay fired a shot back at Scott:
Emmanuel Mudiay, after collecting 10 assists tonight: "Thank you Byron Scott for saying I'm not a point guard." #Nuggets
