Not sure what the Blazers have been doing to their players’ knees, but first round pick Elliot Williams is likely out for the season after dislocating his right knee cap (patella). Ouch! From the Oregonian: “There’s something about the Trail Blazers and their patellas. The team on Thursday afternoon said rookie guard Elliot Williams has dislocated his right patella and is likely out for the remainder of the season. Williams is the third Blazers player in the last year to suffer a patella injury, joining centers Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla. Although details were not provided by the team, Williams likely suffered the injury during Thursday’s shootaround.”
