The Bulls made plenty of headlines this past summer and the team’s biggest acquisition, Dwyane Wade, is already tempering expectations.
Wade spoke with reporters after today’s practice and said that the team is focusing on getting better everyday and that the team’s title hopes are “unrealistic:”
Wade said Bulls' focus has to be on improving day-to-day to point they're playoff team again. Called goal of winning title "unrealistic."

Wade and point guard Rajon Rondo signed with Chicago over the summer and the duo, along with star Jimmy Butler, are ushering in a new era in Chicago. We spoke with D-Wade for SLAM 202 and he told us that his move to the Windy City was not a case of ring-chasing:
“For me, it’s as simple as, I got a deal in Miami for $41 million, I got a deal in Chicago for $47 million,” Wade says. “It didn’t come down to the money. I thought about Cleveland, but I didn’t fit there. You don’t just do something because, Oh, I could win the ring there. I have three rings. I don’t need to chase the ring. This is what I wanted to do. I couldn’t fight it. If you fight it, you’re gonna always be like, You shoulda, or, What could’ve—I don’t like to live my life like that.”
