The banner will be raised Oct. 25 on Opening Night.
Nike is also re-touching the giant LeBron James banner outside the arena to commemorate the Cavs’ first title in franchise history.
Per the NEOMG:
The banner features the primary team colors, wine and gold, with the “C” logo wrapped around the Larry O’Brien Trophy near the bottom.
Last month, Cavaliers swingman Richard Jefferson revealed the diamond-encrusted title ring on Snapchat before quickly deleting it.
The Cavs will host the New York Knicks on Opening Night, the first opportunity for fans to get an in-person glimpse. Prior to tipoff, there will be a special presentation, with players receiving their rings and the banner being revealed in the rafters.
