ESPN’s Bill Walton is known for being one of the most eccentric analysts in all of sports. When he calls a game, Walton will go on rants about whatever is on his mind, even if it has absolutely nothing to do with college basketball. Walton showed that off on Wednesday night, during the Worldwide Leader’s broadcast of Oregon vs Washington. The former UCLA star went on a diatribe about the NCAA legalizing marijuana. It was…interesting.
As for the game, Oregon won 78-74, but the biggest highlight was Walton’s rant. And in case you’re wondering, there is no word on whether or not ESPN has any plans on disciplining Walton.
